I came home last night and my husband says the cat got out of the bathroom....no big deal...she'll come out when I go to bed. She didn't and I fell alseep...We'll 15 minutes ago I woke up to a tiny scream. Woke up hubby cause we had to tear apart the bed(didn't I say this would happen
)And there she is with 5 clean healthy babies!!!!!!!
One is a dark grey the rest are black and may have tabby stripes, I get a closer look in a few. I haven't felt her yet to see if she is done. But I went and found an old bed pillow and put a towel over it and moved her and babies to the box in the bathroom. I do not want them growing up under my bed!!! I will post pictures later today. Go momma's go!!! ((((Labor Vibes)))) to my fellow grandmeowmys to be!!!!

Congrats....I would also move mom's litter and food in the room. I would also switch her to a non clumping litter (either clay or a natural litter).

Yeh...they often have their own thoughts on where to have the kittens. Glad everyone is safe and secure.

Well, she's not done, she has at least 1 more in there, Hard to tell. The grey has socks just like her(if I have my way we will keep that one) There are 2 solid blacks, and 1 that is all black with a white stripe down its belly, and 1 that looks just like her!!!

Congrats on a relatively smooth delivery *smile* our girls will keep us on our toes in choosing just the right place to nest, won't they? When my girl Lexus had her 1st litter, nothing else would do but that she have them in my bed ... and she wouldn't hear of me moving them once they were born, so I shared my bed with Lex and 5 babies for about 4 weeks until she was ready for them to be elsewhere. *sigh* It is simply amazing that a petite, dainty queen and her 5 little tinys could take up so much of a queen-sized bed!

Still no new ones....how long can it take, she is doing soooo good. Responding to their every squeek. I was watching them and 2 of them were fighting for the same nipple
It was so cute, they were hitting each other. She stood up an there definatly is at least one more in there. I don't know when she had the last one but all their umbillical cords are dry.

congrats! are you sure it is another baby? it could just be fecal matter or another placenta. Glad everything went smoothly. When Kitty had her first litter, she had them on the couch. Kitty just jumped up on the couch and started pushing. lol.
