Well, Tammy Timmy is very happy, but I think she is pregnant. I ran her to the vets Saturday and found out that she is 8 or 9 months old (instead of 3 to 5 like I thought) and has been outside for no one knows how long. I guess I could use some advice on what to look for, because she is just barely pregnant, if at all. I will have to cancel the spay because I will NOT kill any kits she might be carrying. It has been over 20 years since I have dealt with a possibly pregnant cat. Any advice or help will be gratefully appreciated.Originally Posted by KittenKiya

In terms of trying to date how far along she is, at this young age, it is safe to assume it is her first pregnancy. Without fail, once I learned this, exactly on day 21, their nipples will become visibily pinker - a bubblegum pink, and seem larger. It isn't so on day 20, but is on day 21, and then remains this color throughout the rest of the pregnancy.
It's not as accurate with subsequent pregnancies, but is for the first. Not only I, but all the breeders I knew, used this to confirm a cat was pregnant.
