in a pile of open toed shoes!
Well, I am still here at work today, when I get off work at 4pm. My husband drove me in today, and was supposed to be here at 4 to pick me up, and he's not here... and his Nextel phone (which are total junk) is not in service, go figure. So my SIL calls and says "are you on your way home?" I said no, I'm waiting for Tom. She says, "sweetie, he's at the house behind my house with Damien" So then I call his brothers phone, which rings, and ask for my hubby.... of course he answers and I said "are you just gonna leave me here?" his response was "oh sugar" (use your imagination). And then my SIL calls me again, and says "I'm gonna come & get you cause he still hasn't left yet". So here I am at 4:30, waiting for a ride... with rush hour traffic it's gonna take her 4-ever to get here, then 4-ever for us to get home... and I'm not getting paid. I swear I'm gonna feed him exlax and ipecac for dinner tonight! And then go out, and let him feel what it feels like to be stuck somewhere, even if that somewhere is the toilet!!!
He is SO in the dog house!!!

Sounds like the same thing John does everytime he goes to do something that should take him about 10 minutes.... lasts over an hour.... or two

Um, if you want a sneakier way...put Visine in his drink. If it's in a flavored drink the body won't taste it because it replicates human tears, but it will flush out the human system in a HURRY! (But ssshhhh! Don't say I told you!)

That really sucks that you're stuck at work and not even getting paid and on a FRIDAY no less! Not much worse than that!!

That would be great revenge for those BAD boyfriend days.

I found out about it from my father, who found out about it in his Marine Corps days.
I haven't experienced it personally, but from what they say it will make a person seriously miserable for a while!

I can back this up. Someone I know got sick of people raiding his fridge when he had parties, so he made a batch of visine brownies and put them in there. Poor mooches were scurrying out into the bushes, they had to go so bad.

I can't blame you for being upset with him. One time my husband needed the car, and I had an evening class. He was supposed to pick me up at 10:30 p.m., and never showed. I called and called, and ended up taking a cab home, because there was no answer. I get home, and he and the pets are sound asleep in the living room.

It is sweet of your SIL though. Hope you get home soon (and I'm thinking Tom needs to make a trip to a jewelry store).

I have also heard about spiking drinks with visine. We actually joked about it back when I was in my A&P I class and my professor told us that it can be very dangerous. It slows down your CNS... Snopes actually discusses it here:

http://www.snopes.com/medical/myths/visine.asp

I was suprised when we learned what it can do because it really seems like it would be harmless.
