I told you all yesterday about my MIL. Well today Dh and I went to the muffler shop and had dual exhaust with glass packs and chrome tips put on our truck. (yay!) Anyways, Just as I am walking out from paying and I'm all excited about my new "tough sounding truck" I look up and there she stands! My MIL!
I glared at Dh and said "What is SHE doing here" He said he called her to tell her about her car and the repairs he did but didn't expect her to shop up... I am FURIOUS! I can't get away from this woman! She ended up following us back to our house and has him working on her car again. I told DH do NOT let her in my house. Keep her outside! Now not only do I feel like I have to babysit her or keep her entertained but I also have to follow her back to her house, drive her to mine to pick up her other car and then follow her BACK to her house again to make sure it's running right... So much for going school shopping like I have planned for 2 days! I let my oldest son stay home from summer camp today so he could go with me but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I'm catering to this mean vulgar mentally insane warthog of a mother in law

Someone put me out of my misery? PLEASE????????

Breathe!! I hope everything works its self out. take your son and go shopping. You can let hubby take her home and follower her back or what not. You can't not get the things done that you need to get done just because she decided to show up.

I'd take your son and GO! She shouldn't be able to hold you back from your daily plans!

I would LOVE to leave but I can't DH doesn't have a DL (got a DUI like the dork he is)
I just went out there and asked how long it was going to take and got the nastiest look from the old hag! I asked DH if he wanted to stop and eat. She says "Well he needs to get this done" DH said "Yeah can you fix me something? I'm shaking I need to eat" She then gives me another nasty look. I offered him something to drink until lunch is done and he said "I'll wait till that's cooked" She says "well do you want a coke from ME instead of HER?" DH Rolled out from under her car and said "STOP IT MOM" and she huffed and puffed and bummed ANOTHER cigarette from me...
I swear, if she doesn't leave I'm going to have her car TOWED out of my driveway!
I know this sounds bad but she loathes Jake and everytime she's over here she complains about him and wants DH to put him up. Not now, not this time. I let him out as soon as I got home.. She walked in the gate and on the front porch and I told Justice to let Jake out to potty
and you hear her freak out and my son and I died laughing. I am letting Jake play in the yard w/Tiger right now. I know that if he's out there she wont come near the front door..
I swear, one day I am gonna put dog treats in her purse and let Jake go.
I don't care if he jumps on her and licks her... normally I won't let him do it to people but her I dont really give a rat's rear!

Hey you could always offer her a broom to fly away on.
I did that to my ex mil once. I couldn't stand the old hag. My problem was I married someone who took her side.
But like I said offer her a broom to fly away on.

Since its gonna take long on the car, you can just lock the front door and leave with your son, by the time youre back they will be still there

Let her go back home the same way she got there.
