fatal for cats?

Hello,

does anybody know more about Oshetsky disease? According to http://british-short-hair.com , the pathogen is contained in pork and is fatal for cats!

I've heard of very few raw feeders (in any species) that use any sort of raw pork products. Just stay away from it.

Thanks for the information, I was just scared that this raw pork could be in some other products as ingredient!

I think in any kind of commercial cat food, the pork would need to be cooked to be included. Can anyone confirm that?

I don't think it's anything to worry about- we've known about trichiniasis for decades, and that's got 99.9% of everyone too afraid use any kind of pork for animal food.
