suckling kitten

hi guys,
some itme ago now I need help with a suckling kitten and his sister , well thanks to you all for the information and i have managed to stop the sister but not ralph (rotten ralph as we now call him), I have tried to put pepper curry powder etc but no use, even a slight tap of the nose, he was 9wks when he left his mum so he was not too young but he was the runt of the litter, I cannot find anywhere that sells this apple stuff either our local pet at home do not stock it, please doee anyone outtherw have any suggestions? thanks Lorraine

Have you provided him an "alternative"...like a stuffed animal?? Being the runt....he may need to comfort himself and suckling isn't bad, as long as it is done in an appropriate way (with a stuffed animal).

thankyou for your reply, yeh I have tried a stuffed animal and he sleeps with his sister my youngest and the dog sometimes. so I do not think he is lonley he only does it when he starts to purr andhis mum stopped suckling then started again just before we got him.
