Do you still have your tonsils?

I don't know why but the thought occured to me to make a poll and see who still has their tonsils
And if you don't how old were you when you had them out?

I still have mine BTW.

Yes, but they should've been removed years ago. They bother me a lot.

i do, and they've never bothered me *knock on wood*

i had my adenoids out at 8 or so tho.

Yeah me too...with a extra couple of hundred llbs

I've never had anything but a tooth taken out..I know the tonsils are in the throut but what do they look like and where are they

Same with me; I get tonsillitis at least twice a year.
When one of my brothers was younger, he got tonsillitis every month. Except it was really bad, so bad that he'd puke up blood. For reasons unknown [I was too young to remember], the doctor didn't want to take his tonsils out. One day my brother got fed up and said, "TAKE OUT MY TONSILS!"
Needless to say, they did.

nope had them out when i was seven, they interefered with my breathing.

48 years old and still have them.

I had them out when i was five in Texsas because my uncle (who lives there) is a surgeon and my mom only trusted him at the time so we went on vacation there so I could have my tonsils taken out (can you tell I was an over-protected as a child?!!!).

I had my tonsils and adenoids removed when I was about 7, I also had tubes placed in my ears at the same time which they kept in for a year.

I had my tonsils out when I was 6 years old. I can still remember crying for my mum, and my Auntie, telling me to behave our she would smack me. I had to wait for 10 days before I got to go home and see my mum.

No, I don't have mine. I had my tonsils removed when I was 4 years old, the day the Challenger (1986) blew up

They were removed when I was 8 yrs. old.

I still have mine. Just got my wisdom teeth out though.
