Am I the only one who's hubby leaves the toilet seat up?
He is a Star Trek freak
LOVES the Cincinati (sp) Bengals--when the game is on, forget even breathing too loud.
hmm, I'm sure I'll think of something else
My hubby has all the Star Treks (literally) and LOVES the Golden Girls. Also he has every movie Walter Matthau was in, plus his autograph

My dh eats the fat on meat, and it bothers me. He says I dissect my meal before I eat it, because I remove every bit of visible fat!
He prefers meat at every meal. The first time I fed him a chef salad, he was incredulous. "We're eating salad for dinner?!?"
And then we had nachos another time. "We're eating potato chips for dinner?!?" No...nacho chips covered with meat and cheese and beans...

Every year when we go Christmas
shopping for the kids, he ends up buying himself a miniature car. He wants for me to get them for him, but I can't tell which ones are the "cool" ones. So he picks out his own.

We have Will because of dh. I would probably have turned him over to my foster agency to be adopted out as a house cat, but dh was very insistant that he is a wonderful cat, and we should keep him. He IS a wonderful cat, and he makes me happy.
I'm glad we have him!

My boyfriend hates sports.

He eats the fat on meat, and bugs me because I hate fat.

He has a collection of toys...including a bunch of McDonald's kids toys from when he worked there. We can't go to Wal Mart or Zellers without stopping to look at the remote control cars and the model cars because he loves them. We've been together for over 4 years and I've bought him expensive stuff and nice presents, but the one he loved most was a $10 model car I got him last Christmas. He freaked out when he saw it.

The thing I find the weirdest is he doesn't like pizza. He will eat it sometimes, but he doesn't like it. His dad doesn't like it either, and they are the only 2 people I have ever met that dont like pizza.

My new bf is also a meat eater but im not sure about the fat! he totally hates cheese, he thinks its so gross that i eat such a variety of it! He also wont eat other cuisines other than italian and german, so i told him once he comes back from his holiday he has to expand his taste buds!

Wow so many men who cut the fat off their steaks. We try to be health conscious, but DH takes it to the extreme with his obsessive fat cutting. It's like watching a surgical procedure.

umm, maybe it's just the after effects that gross him out?

How did nobody else comment on this one?

Oh, tell me you got a picture of this!

heh...I like this thread
My dh won't eat anything with bones or shells...so all chicken must be boneless, no steaks unless boneless, fish..if I don't check that all bones are really out, he will find (and choke) on one. It's a family thing...he, his father, and his grandfather, all have this weird if there's a bone in it, they'll end up choking on it!

Frankly, he could live on pizza and hamburgers.

He also could live on antartica or an island and never see another human being but me, and be happy. If he ever takes up a second career, he'll be a weather person (or a storm chaser).

He has the most extensive range of music styles and musicians that he loves to listen to, from classical to alternative, blue grass to jazz, to..you name it, he listens to it! I have NO clue with most of the names he mentions to me!

Has pulled me into the world of anime, is a Megatokyo fan, and loves various computer games which he will play for hours if left to his own devices, and really loves to play games such as Dungeon Siege with me.

He's totally self taught on computers- first earning him a much better job in the army, then his first job out of the army, and now head of IT for a software development company. ...most intelligent man I've ever met.

Won't go to a doctor unless I pull out all the stops (his favorite comment "pain is weakness leaving the body"). Argh!

Lee:

Walks around making car noises

has a game he plays with me (I don't play back cause i suck at it) where everysong that comes on the radio he says "Betcha don't know who sings this song"

Gets upset when I ask him to explain a racing concept or car concept saying that its too complicated

tries to make me read books like the Dynamics of speed (which I read the 1st chapet 10 times and still don't understand) that are so dull its no wonder anyone can read them!

I could go on but I will stop.

in a pile of open toed shoes!
Mine is definately an odd duck as far as men go. He:

hates cheese (I could live off cheese alone!)

hates butter (I thought butter was 1 of the basic food groups?)

doesn't like sports (yay! for me!!!)

doesn't like startrek/transformers/toys (double yay!)

doesn't play video games (an xbox that was given to him, he used it twice)

will keep extra wires/parts forever

Yep mines weird also, He would go to work on his death bed, thinks nothing can run right without him, he spend over 20 yrs in the navy 11 years 7 months of that sea duty never missed a day from being sick or anythiong else
That's before we were married.
Doesn't care what's for dinner at all nothing is special to him when it comes to food.
But the biggest thing is that he is the most repetitive person I have ever seen in my entire life, he will like put up a retaining wall and a week later he's taking it down and redoeing it
, a large retaining wall.
When he was looking to change jobs he had his resume but everytime he needed to send it he would redo the WHOLE thing, some of the things he does makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck,,,
Oh and he will not and I mean not agure at all, me I need to do that once in a while

Other then that and a few other things he's a really great, honest hard working person who will do anything for me

My husband is actually pretty great what I don't understand is why he leaves his cereal bowl on the counter doesn't put in in the sink or dishwasher(but if that's the worse thing he does I'm doing GOOD!!)...it's weird, but then I think the alternative would be for him not to be here at all and I would rather see that cereal bowl sitting there and him in the other room, than him not there at all. We should all thank God for what we have everyday cuz life changes so quickly.

Okay here goes:

He doesn't like to eat. I have to remind him when it's time for dinner. He credits it to being forced to eat to gain weight back in his college football days.

When he DOES eat he doesn't like white foods. He's allergic to mayonnaise so all I can figure is if it resembles that he's disgusted by it. He turns down sour cream, cream cheese, and milk (unless it has chocolate or is in cereal).

He pops fabric...CONSTANTLY. Usually his pants, but honestly anything he can get between his fingers and get a good "pop" out of. If I'm wearing a top or skirt made out of something different he'll have to try it to see what kind of sound it makes.

He has an addiction to buying DVDs. And he will trade in old ones for the newest edition of the movie because it has a 10 minute special feature that the old one didn't have. I'll take a picture of the wall in our living room devoted to them when I get home tonight. It's a little insane.
