I've realized that I am not the only one with a quirky SO on TCS. So everyone own up... what does your SO do that is a little on the odd side. I'll start:

1. He has a thing for pirates, ninjas, and zombies.

2. He won't eat meat with fat on it... try making a steak for a man who doesn't like fat. It's been a challenge for the last 7 years, but I've managed.

3. He doesn't like team sports. In our entire time together, we've watched a grand total of 45 minutes of football. He'd rather play a video game or play a pen and paper RPG.

Nuh uh...might give me away!
What's with the ninjas? Brandon is obsessed with them too. Sometimes I'll ask him why he's walking slow and he'll say, "I'm being sneaky like a ninja."

He spends 20 minutes trimming the fat off boneless, skinless, chicken breasts, but he'll eat leftovers from the fridge as long as they "don't smell funny."

And as I just told him the last one, he said, "Yeah, but you know what? They'll be LEAN leftovers!"

Goodness. There are just gnomes everywhere. It's INSANE!

Anyways-
-Yeah..Brandon WILL not eat Fish, Stuffing or anything with Mustard.
-When A Packer Game is on, There is no Brandon. He is in the TV. For real.
-He's a total baby when anything hurts him. For Pete's Sake, I stub my toe and blood could be gushing, but I still resume Cooking Supper with a few cuss words...He stubs his toe, and the world comes to an end.

I forgot one last thing... he is a baby when he is sick, but I've watched the man eat a cookie that is literally five seconds from the oven and not flinch.

Oh this sounds all too familiar

1. Is obsessed with horror movies - especially any movies that include zombies. Will search out horror movies no one has ever heard of because he thinks the new release horror movies are horrible. Actually, until I met him, I didn't even know they made horror movies with subtitles.

2. Is obsessed with transformers. He owns the box sets of Transformers, Transformers Beastwars, and I think he just got the Transformers Beast Machines set. Will spend *weeks* going to walmart/toys r us/target/etc hunting down one toy. He finally found this new release optimus prime today. He came home with it in the bag and (literally) stood in the kitchen for 10 minutes doing a happy dance while he showed it to me... then ran to his office to transform it
Also has a HUGE autobot decal on the back window of his car. He's such a big kid!

3. Is occasionally obsessed with Warhammer. Although this one seems more of a month on/month off cycle, I have witnessed him spending an entire weekend painting one 28mm figure.

4. Owns every video game system out there. My mom is actually buying him two of those video rocker chairs for christmas so he and a friend can game their butts off.

5. No sports. Ever.

He's really weirder than I can possibly explain, but in such a good way

So I'm going to assume that your house looks like this too:

Dh would also like me to point out the pirate ship on the top shelf.

We have a bookcase (floor to ceiling) with neatly arranged 2000ADs in banker boxes (labelled, of course).

Reggie is obsessed with the civil war.. (I have NO clue why but DON'T get into a discussion w/him about it... It's painful)
He won't eat watermelon or anything with watermelon flavor.
He won't use sunblock/aloe/lotion.... ANYTHING that's "greasy"
Oh and there isn't a song made from 1970 to 2000 that he DOESN'T know. I call him Casey Casem's illegitimate child (that's censoring it of course)

Literally ANY song from that time frame can come on the radio and before the first 15 seconds he can tell you who wrote it, what year and what album

Trav doesn't have any weird quirks except he is a HUGE baby when he is sick:

In the whiniest voice you can imagine:
"Baby(the long drawn out kind), will you get me a cup of tea(whine)?"

I suck it up unless I am vomiting and cannot get up because I will throw up. i HATE being that sick and then I am a baby. Anything else and I am STILL working and cleaning and getting anything I need.

He also got the big huge happy dance when he got his big screen.

I'll think of more later....

My BF also asked me to add the following:

"I worship your collection! Unfortunately, I only started collecting seriously again in the last year, so I missed out on all the great Hasbro/Takara G1 re-issues. My TFs are mostly the newer ones and a few older bots (mostly minicons) I managed to salvage from my old stash of toys. Nonetheless, it was great to see your collection; I'm truly envious!"
He's also bought a few in the last couple of days that aren't in that picture. I'm convinced my house will be taken over one day

an ice cube in Iowa...
My hubby has a rather adorable toothbrush dance (exotic-style) he does with an electric toothbrush wearing a towel around his waist.

And somewhere he found a pair of black spandex leotard dance pants (I won't even ask WHY we had those...), and decided to squueeeezzzzzze into them, and put his hair up into a side pony-tail (he has long beautiful hair), and follow me around pigeon-toed, calling me "Mom-meeee."

Oh, and he likes to mow the lawn with his crack hanging out...but only on special lawn-mowing occassions, like when our 80 year-old cranky neighbor lady is outside watching.

And he is an avid table-tennis lover. He has a videotape of the 1992 Olympic table-tennis matches...and he then regresses to about a 6 year-old level. This tape is on high-rotation in our VCR. My oh my.

He is a Star Trek freak
LOVES the Cincinati (sp) Bengals--when the game is on, forget even breathing too loud.
hmm, I'm sure I'll think of something else

My boyfriend and I both love anime (that's how we met) and he has a case with shelves that goes almost all the way to the ceiling filled with DVD's.. and I'm pretty sure most of these are imports. I like anime too, but somtimes it drives me nuts.. I don't see how there is still any room left on this thing!

well where to begin..... Jerry is terrified of needles. To the point not to long ago he injured his leg at work really bad. The er offered him a shot of morphine, he turned it down for a loratab. I told him he was crazy. But, the man has 2 tattoos.
The man has this thing for not good horror flicks, but, the b-rated stupid movies. Oh and he can't settle for a veggie plate or salad, he has to have meat, regardless...
