I have an Himalayan Persian cat and although I own books on this specific breed they NEVER tell me what the cat should weigh when an adult! Right now my male is exactly three months old as weighs exactly four pounds. What can I expect him to weigh at maturity?

My male persian weighed 9 lbs most of his adult life until a year ago when he developed heart failure and lost 2 lbs. He has been feeling really good lately and has gained a lb. back.

You should ask you vet what your cat's ideal weight should be because ideal weight varies from cat to cat even among purebreeds. So get a definitive answer from your vet based on your cats age, breed, and health.

depending on the general make up of the cat bone structure wise, ect and over all size anywhere from 9-14 or so should be a good weight. Also depends on how much hair they have
My boy Loki weighs 12lbs with hair, 10 when shaved, LOL he has alot of hair
