My favourite time of the month has rolled around, (
) and my cramps are TERRIBLE!
Midol doesn't help much anymore and the heating pad takes forever to work. I already tried exercizing and I'm about to have a hot bath.

What do you ladies do to relieve your cramping?

Nuh uh...might give me away!
Any type of anti-infammatory works wonders. Aleeve is one, but also Ibuprofen (Advil). Also, drink LOTS of water. I've found that those two things plus being active tends to lessen my cramps. I'm also on birth control (which has worked wonderfully) to ease my cramps.

I have Endometriosis so I get bad cramps also I am on Seasonale so I only get it 4 times a year so it's great. My Doc says take 2 aleve every four hours for bad cramps and I love my heating pad also. Try to take the pills the day before your period to nip it in the bud.

I don't get cramps that bad anymore, but when I do - its not good at all

I just usally take Advil, and curl up into the fetal position and sleep it away

Have you tried the Thermacare or icy hot patches, they are great and you can still move around as you don't have to be plugged in. They make one for menstrual cramping, my neice has terrible cramps and these always help her.

That's exactly what I was going to say...take ibuprofen and get the Thermacare patches. They help a lot!

I started today too. Luckily I don't cramp with this BC. But before that I did really bad. I used ibuprofen but that only worked if I took it immediately when it started, if I let it go until it was really bad then it didn't help. Never had much luck with Midol.
