Wow, they ARE beautiful. I don't know much about the breed standard, but it looks like you are keeping this wonderful breed alive with EXCELLENT genes!

Oooooooh look at those little cuties
I envy you coming home to those fluff balls.

Love the seal point boy doing his impression of Rosie as well

Have they all got new homes to go to Gaye?

If you are interested in learning more about the Old-Style Siamese Cat Breed Standard, here is an excellent link which describes the type of cats I am attempting to achieve in my breed preservation program:

http://www.oldstylesiamese.com/brdstand.html

While the sire and dam of this litter (Tonka and Lexus) do possess a few more "modern" cats in their pedigrees than is accurately acceptable in a true Old-Style Siamese cat, I think their type and conformation are very close to meeting the standard as written for an Old-Style Siamese cat.

*smile* I kept begging Lexus to hold them in until after midnight on the 6th so I wouldn't have an entire litter of 6-6-06 devil babies running loose in my house.

Life will ~always~ get in the way of me doing the things I really WANT to do, ya know??? *smile* Sorry I took so long with these, but honestly, camera issues and a full month of very nasty, cloudy, rainy, overcast weather prevented me from taking a lot of pictures of this litter. I have much better success with my photography if I wait for natural light and of course, it helps a lot if my camera is working correctly. *grin*

These guys ARE big babies! I was almost embarrassed at their first vet visit when the vet told me the largest one weighed nearly 2 pounds! The boys are solid little chunky monkeys - the Blue Point boy is long and a little fuzzy like his Father but the Seal Point Boy is thick and substantial with a very soft, close-lying fur which feels like warm butter suede, very much like his Mother. The girls both take after their Mother in that they are dainty and petite, with the Blue Point girl's fur finer and a little fuzzy and the Seal Point girl's fur is like her twin brother. As an interesting side note, the Seal Point Boy and Seal Point Girl are in fact, twins. They shared a placenta.

*smile* I am not leaving the house much these days, Susan. They are too much fun at this age and stage to spend too much time away from them. I only have them for 12 weeks or so and I try to cram in every single minute of quality-time with them I can find.

It tickles me that Rosie is such a "mouthy" cat and when I saw the one of the SP boy yawning, I instantly thought of Rosie.

Yes, they doall have homes to go to. *sigh* They had homes before they were born, actually. In fact, if I continue breeding after this litter, I have homes for the next ~several~ litters! Even only having the one (or so) litter per year, it is a lot of work and very time-intensive, not to mention spendy. Then there is the grief process when they leave ... for both Lexus and myself. Who knows what the future holds? *shrug* After a little break, Lexus and I might feel differently. I know Tonka wants to continue. *grin*

Oh yeah! That would have been a little creepy for some of us.

BF likes the idea of sharing his birthday with kitties.
