I went out this morning to get the mail and when I came back in I couldn't find Peewee. He's been trying to figure out why the dogs go outside and he doesn't, so I thought maybe he snuck past me when I went out. So I'm frantically searching the house, calling him, ransacking the place... finally I look over and see...

That little sneak was sunbathing the whole time! It's not nice to worry meowmy like that

Exactly! He never shuts up. Usually, unless he's on my lap, he *screams* until I pick him up. So the one time he's quiet, I nearly have a heart attack

Gotta love kittens. They're just so unpredictable

One of my fur nephews has the oddest reaction to being called. (I should mention that he's not a very vocal cat, though he sometimes tells his meowmy off when he thinks she's been particularly thoughtless.)

If my friend calls her cat (Damien - pro. Damn-ee-n, she's Czech) he looks up expectantly and waits for her to find him. He doesn't move, or call out, he just waits patiently for her to come.

So, if he's in hiding, he stays in hiding - with nothing but his head poking up.
