Does anyone know anything about transplanting mimosa trees? I have one that sprouted out of nowhere in our front yard and would like to move it to the back. It's only about 3 feet tall. I love mimosa trees and I hope I'll be able to move it successfully.

My parents have a very large one in their yard, and it took a few tries, but I think the one I planted in the spring finally took. The roots are VERY deep. You may have a difficult time moving one that is 3 ft tall. When you first transplant it, it will look withered, and dead. Just keep watering it.
