Kitten Has A Very Dry Nose

My kitten who is around 4 months old has a very dry nose. It almost appears to be cracking and gets scabs just inside the nostrils. I don't know what to do to treat this problem, but did put a tiny amount of Vaseline on it the other day, but it only helped temporarily.

He seems to be in fine health, and has been to the vet recently, but I didn't notice this until after the vet visit. We are going back soon for another shot, but what can I do in the meantime?

I'd go back right away - with cats, you can't really tell if it's a symptom of a larger problem.

Even if it's not, your vet can probably give you something that will clear it up very quickly.
