Why is it that guys think they know the right way to do everything and that your way is not as good? Not all guys are like this all the time but I get it from Lee often enough.

Lee called and I was telling him that I was going to meet my friend for another bike ride this evening. I told him where we were going and his response was "Why are you going there? First you went by your mom's then at the river, and now the park? Why don't you go in the same place everytime?" So there I sat trying to explain to him why we wanted a change of scenery while we were riding as to not get tired of seeing the same things thus keeping us riding longer.

Tell Lee that I got this from Jerry a few years ago.....(he worked as a part time policeman when I met him). It is good to vary your routine......if someone is watching you, you don't want them to know your daily routine........

I was walking in the same neighborhood at the same time early morning and he told me to switch it around now and then.......just to be on the safe side.

in a pile of open toed shoes!
I get the same kinda crap from time to time.... when we 1st moved in, I did everything myself... I tried waiting for Tom to "get around to it" but that was taking forever, and I needed stuff done now. So I decided to hang Jasmines canopy over her bed. I had the pretty little white hook to hook the canopy too, and all I needed was to get it in the ceiling... so I took out the dewalt drill gun, and of course there are NO bits around anywhere.... and I just needed to start a tiny hole so that I could screw the hook into the ceiling. So I got a brilliant idea, I took a screw, opened up the drill gun, closed it around the head of the screw leaving the pointy part out, and used that to make my hole. Well you should hear the grief I STILL get over it. He'll tell everyone "
and she put the screw in like it was a drill bit!
" The worst part was that it didn't hold cause of the drywall, so I again came up with an idea... I used gorilla glue and held it in place until it all dried! Top that!

And any time he starts to poke fun at my creative carpentry, I gently remind him that it's a gosh darn shame a contractors wife has to even put a screw in anywhere!

I think its a hereditary gene.
Only passes through on the male side.

I half the time I get told that his way is better...then I wait to see and for him to admit that its not (then he claims my solution as his own).

My Jerry is horrible about thinking his ideas are always better. I guess it is where he is 12 yrs older than me I don't know. But, I can completely understand the not waitng around on the guy to do it his way. Usually I prove my way works better. Men know everything, the best thing to do is agree with them then do it your way.

What's even funnier is letting him "think" he's right. Hehehe we women all know whose REALLY always right
Us!!! The male mind just isn't capable of wraping itself around that fact....not quite as many brain cells in their little minds to comprehend such a large and accurate fact

When I get remarks from Jeff like that, he usually only deserves the "because I want to" and I will repeat that until he stops asking. After 10 years of marriage, he only needs one "because..." .

Though what aggravates me is that I will mention something over and over and over (like the house needs painting), then suddenly, he starts spouting like he just came up with it.
