RIP sweet Samantha

I learned last night that my brother and his family have lost their 13-year-old cat to cancer. Samantha was a beautiful, long-haired dilute tortie that my SIL had adopted before she and my brother got married. She was a sweet, shy girl and a very beloved member of their family. RIP Samantha. We love you and will miss you.

Condolences to your family on the loss of Samantha. Cancer is such an ugly disease - it took away both my first JC and my dog Tasha. My thoughts and prayers are with your SIL, and hope that she finds comfort in knowing that Samantha lived in the safety and comfort of a loving family (that included aunties ) Enjoy your reward over RB, Samantha!

Thanks, everbody. I'll pass on your condolences to my brother and his family and know they'll find comfort in them. Sam's loss wasn't unexpected, but is still devastating for her family. I can still remember kitten sitting for her when Tom and Jenny went on their honeymoon. She was such a little cutie then and grew into a sweet, beautiful cat.
