We are thinking about having a baby!!

Well my husband and I have been married for almost 2 years now and we have been together for almost 5 years! In his custom it is actually weird that we weren't pregnant within the first few months of marriage , but they backed off a little bit since we are younger than most newlywed couples in the church.


We have lately been thinking of having a child...if we do decide to have one then we would start trying for a baby in the beginning of september!! If we are going to have one then I want to know that I am pregnant for when my Dad and brother come in town at the end of October!


I am just someone that always talks myself out of things....but I will let you guys know our final decision!!

Oh, congrats! I hope that no matter what final decision you make, you are 100% sure. I'm sure the thought of having a baby can be scary (it'll be a couple of years before I think about it seriously, I think...lol) but only YOU and your husband can decide what is best.

Good for both of you! Good luck, and don't be impatient with your body - it would be exceptional for you to get pregnant in 1 month of trying - remember, anything up to two years is considered a normal period for a healthy couple.

That is understandable. I am 22 right now, so I am at the peak of getting pregnant. But our luck is after we go through all this planning...it won't be until next year for us to get pregnant. But at least we will be ready and I can be patient since I am young, so there is no rush if for some reason it takes longer.

And it will be fun trying!!

There is a book you should get. I think I may have it at my mom's house that I can send you. Its called "What to expect when you are expecting. I hear its great. My sister never used it and the baby will be here in September.

Hey good luck to you! I am glad you aren't like my younger sister who met her boyfriend at 20, married him 6 weeks after her 21st birthday 21 and 4 months later decided to have a baby, she just turned 22 and is 5 months pregnant. And this is the first guy she ever, well, did anything romantic with! But they seem happy at least. So good luck to you! Babies are so much fun!

Well I will be 23 before I would give birth...and Jason and I have been together for 5 years, but I understand what you are saying.

Yay!!! Good luck! And Brandi's right... this book is awesome for new moms, and pregnant moms... my SIL has it, and it even tells you if the baby bumps his head, what to look for swelling, glased eyes...everything. It's like a pregnant womans bible!!!
