adjusting to a new home? or a bigger problem?

I have a concern: I just moved two days ago and my cat hasn't urinated all day, her litter is completely clean. She pooped next to my bed on the first night and hasn't gone since, which is a first because she's litter trained. She's also meowing a lot and I thought this might be because she's getting used to her new surroundings but now I'm worried because of the change in her pee/poo schedule. I will definitely call the vet tomorrow but was wondering if anybody out there has any advice or has been through a similar situation?

You are right to take her to the vet, to make sure it isn't anything more serious. If it turns out she's just a bit stressed, your vet should be able to sell you some Feliway which should help her (if you're not familar with it's just a plug (like an air freshener) which is scentless to us but calming for kitties).

Does she know for sure where the box is? She's probably scared of going in someone else's territory, but if you can put something of hers (or yours) right near the box so she feels more at home it might help. Do check all remote corners of the place though to be sure she isn't going somewhere hidden.
