Pirates of the Carribean

OMG i just saw the first one and second one and they are the best movies i have ever seen....Johnny Depp is fantastic in these movies and Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are great too!! I didnt like the ending of the second but then i guesse i did....its so suspensfull and i cant wait to see the 3rd one!! They are great movies but i guesse you have to have a great imagination to watch.....I love Captian Jack Sparrow!! Have you seen any of the Pirate movies?? If you did how did you like them??

hated them .....why they are so great....maybe its just me?

I've seen the 1st one and liked it - but I haven't seen the 2nd. I've heard mixed reviews of the 2nd one.

The second is not as good as the first, but it is a great movie, nonetheless.
Go in keeping in mind that it is primarily a vehicle to bridge into the third, which is currently being filmed.

Jack Sparrow is simply Depp's most brilliantly played character to date, hands down.
He stated in an interview that Sparrow's mannerisms are modelled after Keith Richards, lol, I can totally see that.

I thought the first one was excellent, and the second one got canned by the ciritics, so I went in with no expectations and thought it was pretty good still!! They're just fun movies, and I love fun movies!

I especially love the music in the second one.

Johnny Depp looks very good in this movie if i dont say so myself!! Not that he doesnt look good in any other movie...besides Edward Scissor Hand!! He is a great actor..... Orlando Bloom looks pretty good too...sorry i am so obsessed...well no im just a big fan!!! LOL

Pirates is probably one of the movies that is easiest on the eyes. I mean come on.. Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightly? All gorgeous people.

I LOVE the first one.. I watched it 3 times a day for 2 weeks when it first came out on dvd. I loved the second one as well, but it wasn't as awesome as the first.

Looking foward to May 2007 for the third one.

Loved both of them! I can't wait till the third one comes out. I had heard the second ended badly, but I didn't think so.

I enjoyed them both, but definitely thought that the second one was sillier, with a lot more over-the-top antics and craziness. The special effects were great, though, and the campy fight scenes were very well choreographed. I'm looking forward to the third one, for sure.

On a side note, I saw The Libertine, another Johnny Depp movie, on the weekend. If you're hoping visions of him will get you (or your partner) frisky, I strongly suggest you skip this one and go see Pirates or Don Juan de Marco. While The Libertine is a good movie, Johnny Depp is most definitely NOT attractive in it (particularly not at the end!). Consider yourselves warned!

Seen both and I love them!! they are probably my favorite set of movies soo far....then I will have to see when the 3rd comes out...so far my favorite trilogys are: Back to the Future, Indian Jones and Lord of the rings. But the pirates is probably going to go first on my list!!

I've seen both of them and I own the first one. I liked the first one better. Maybe I just don't like cliff hangers though! Johnny Depp is amazing as Jack Sparrow.

I didn't see the 2nd one yet, but am looking forward to it. Who cares what the critics think?

I didn't like this movie really. Maybe I got myself too pumped up for it since I loved the first one so much. It wasn't a total waste though because the scenery was nice

I love POTC 1 and 2 and agree that captain jack sparrow is amazing, but I liked him just as much in Benny and Joon (best song Have a little faith in me-john hiatt) and once upon a time in mexico- title something like that, he loses both his eyes- its still amazing.

Johnny Depp is my all time fave and is so good looking....look at his face...his cheekbones and eyes are what get to me!!!

I liked Once upon a Time in Mexico until that part. Losing his vision was one thing, but the way it happened... too much for me.
