This is our trip from southern CA to northern CA to get Rupert from the breeder 4/21/2006. Enjoy.

We started our trek to Sacramento from LA at 2:00am. After about 1-2 hour driving we got hungry and stopped at Carl's JR for some junk food. Good thing they were open 24 hours on the weekends...

There was bunch of nothing on 5 HWY to Sacramento, but here is a big house out of no where...

But there are plenty of cows around...

Now, with the real junk foods are gone, we had to survive on the junk junk foods....

We had to stop at the gas station to refill... The gas for the whole trip is about $150+!!

We are finally in the neighborhood where the breeder was and some strays were checking us out...

AT LAST...We got Rupert...This is when he is only 12 weeks old.

Will followup with more pictures after we got him home...

Welcome home beautiful!

(Sign of a true cat lover - you drive all that way to pick up a purebreed, and take pics of strays on the way!)

Oh, yes, there was nothing but cows everywhere....The drive was very nice, cool and lots of grassy rolling hills. Very nice. However, it was a 14 hour non stop trip...
