There is a really really good microbrewery/restaurant in Berea (right by the airport). It is right downtown (as much as there is one) by the clock tower, and the Metroparks entrance. It's called the Cornerstone. There's also the a nice lunch place that has a lot of deli-type stuff and a ton of vegetarian stuff, called Cafe AhRoma. If you went there you could see the fundraising store called "The Barking Cat" for the Animal Rescue (no-kill) I volunteered at.

I'm suggesting this because it is very easy to get to the airport (5 mins), pretty easy to get to for anyone who lives on the west side, and for Jen it's right off the Toll Road. Of course, I can't come, which is really sad
but if I were that's where I would wanna go, but of course I'm biased.

I won't feel bad when you decide to go somewhere else, just thought I'd throw it out there. I know most Clevelanders don't spend all that much time downtown.

I think it would be easiest to pick a restaurant based on where everyone is coming from. I'm in South Euclid.

I'm in Medina, so the west side would be better, but I'm willing to go anywhere really

I come from Kent. About 45 minutes-1 hour south-east of Cleveland.

Well, Heidi and I are still planning on it
Where exactly on the West side is easy to reach for you Medina folk? And Jen, would you be willing to meet on the West side? Or how about Zissou's Mom's suggestion of Berea? The Cornerstone sounds yummy to me.

The Cornerstone is closed on Sunday... I just looked at their website to show you all the menu. Sorry!
There's another really good one called The Station http://www.thestationrestaurant.com/ that has a Sunday Brunch from 11-2 and is on the way to the airport for Heidi. Jen-the owner used to be the chef at the Pufferbelly. If that helps.

I really wish I could come!

Near the airport would be really good for me, if Heidi's flight leaves at 3, don't they say to be at the airport at least 2 hrs in advance? so that would give us a little cushion room if we were near the airport...

The only problem with longer travel distance is gas costs. I understand it being best to eat someplace near the airport so if it works out for me then I will come, if not, it isn't the end of the world. But let me know what you guys decide and I will see if I can make it.

Jen- it's exactly 45 miles (door to door, from my old dorm to the house in Berea) on the toll road. About the same as going up to downtown on 77, if not actually closer. I was actually thinking of you when I suggested it because you just have to hop on 80 and get off at Strongsville.

I feel weird that I keep suggesting what to do but I can't go. Wishful thinking, I guess.

I believe she has to be *at* the airport by 3, so I was thinking we could do lunch around noon? I'd like to show her around the area a little. The Station Restaurant looks reeeeeeeeeeelly good-I love pulled pork!

Noon would be great! I've never eaten at the Station myself, but I like to try new things
And Berea is not hard to get too at all, and since Courtney and I are from the same city, we might ride in together
I'm so excited to meet you all!!

Hey that should be fine for me. I checked out their menu and they have a few things I can eat (I don't eat meat). So it should work!

Jen, would you rather we go to Cafe AhRoma Zissou's Mom talked about? I don't want you to be limited in what you can choose.
