I am getting two new siamese baby boys in six or seven weeks and they will have been fed Iambs kitten food by the breeder.

I want to do what I can to ensure against urinary and kidney problems.

I am searching for Dry Kitten Food Brands that have no animal by-products or corn and am coming up empty.

Can someone recommend a brand(s)?

Thanks! By the way, this is a terrific forum!

If you really want to make sure your kittens don't develop any urinary or kidney problems, you should incorpate at least some canned food in their diet. An all dry food diet is screaming for UTI, etc problems. Here are some high quality dry foods for kittens or all life stages:

-Innova (all life stages)
-California Natural (all life stages)
-Chicken Soup For The Kitten Lover's Soul (kitten)
-Felidae (all life stages)
-Natural Balance (all life stages)
-TimberWolf Organics (all life stages)
-Wellness (kitten)
-Pinnacle (all life stages)
-Solid Gold (all life stages)

Unfortunatly all three of those contain corn (in some form or another) which the OP was looking to avoid.

I personally eat Solid Gold. My cats seem to be thriving from it and absolutly love the taste.

thanks

IF you are looking for UTI certified foods .. Purina and Nutro both have them ... basically it means they have been rigously tested for UTI stuff... one has corn gluten which actually helps with ph when chn is used and the other has corn and by products

Not bad actually
Of course I should have typed "feed" but then got the sentence "my cats eat" mixed in there and...
