Yes, it's a good food. I feed these to my cats and dogs when I board them, because I don't expect the kennels the prepare raw for them. They seem to do fine on them. I usually feed the venison formula, BTW.

Mine are being transitioned to the chicken medallions right now, and so far so good, we're almost on 100% raw. I've been mixing it with nature's variety canned chicken, and every few days I reduce the ammount of canned food that I mix with the raw. Etain is the finicky one, but I think she's finally coming around. We have not had any vomiting at all, and I have not noticed any bathroom problems yet. We've been doing this for over two months.

I also have a bag of the venison patties left, and we'll use it up, but I've got to say that the medallions are very convenient to work with, I'm thinking of sticking with those until I can start making their raw food.

By the way, talk to your supplier, there are tons of deals on Nature's variety, I recently got a bag of free medallions when buying a bag of patties, I have two coupons to get more free food online, plus every so many bags I buy at the store, I get one free. And while it seems pricey up front, I'm finding it affordable for two cats, the food does last a while. And they have never looked so healthy.

Two paws up!
