I'd just like to take a moment to remember 110 sweet babies who were recently euthanized right here in the town where I live. They, along with 3 dogs, were found in the home of a hoarder. To make matters worse, when they began removing animals, the owner of the home was found deceased herself, placed in a tupperware box by her two daughters, they believe a year ago.

From the news report, they say the 110 cats were diseased and unhealthy. Poor sweet babies. Play happy and healthy now little ones!

May the crazy hoarder and her pets rest in peace. I hope they are looking into the kids who put "Mom" in a tupperware box! And blessings on the poor people involved who had to remove and euthanize the animals, and clean up what must be a horrendous mess!

Rest in peace, dear kitties and dogs. I'm sorry you were not properly cared for during your time on earth. Now you are in a good place, and will learn what love truly is.

The woman was 84 and her daughters in thier late 30s-early 40s I believe. Both were arrested and charged with various things. The house, a townhouse, was condemed. It's sad all the way around.

Yes, rest in peace, poor lady and hoarded cats and dogs. Bless her sweet heart, she must have been simply overwhelmed. And to not receive a proper burial for her mortal remains, it is so sad. If her daughters have been arrested, it may be that she was terribly neglected or worse
Now she is over RB with her furbabies, and she won't have to feel badly about not being able to care for them.

What a sad situation - RIP little ones. I can't imagine having to do the job of going into that house to sort things out. I hope the daughters do get some punishment.

Oh my. RIP little ones. Run free at the Rainbow Bridge where there is plenty of space to run and play.

Bless them all. May all the animals and the poor woman be in a better place where there is no neglect, nor disease; where happiness abounds and only love prevails.

an ice cube in Iowa...
This makes my heart ache, not only for the poor kitties, but also for the woman who was living with a horrible obsessive-compulsive disorder that she could neither help or control...the problem with hoarding is a 100% legitimate mental health issue. As for the 2 daughters that "stored" her in tupperware containers, I really don't know what their deal is...whatever it is, that too is equally horrible.

RIP little ones...it's over now, and you can cross the Bridge, where there is no disease, enough to eat, room to play, and miles upon miles of green grass and fields of catnip.
