Scratch's sister was adopted by her foster mom! She sheepishly admitted to me today that when I took Scratch she was heartbroken, because she had really fallen in love with both of them. So Scratch's sister is now living in a huge farmhouse with 4 other furbabies. I couldn't be more happy for her.

Should I still try to talk DH into a third?

If you have room in your hearts and homes, definately. It's another life saved, and more joy for you.

I think whether you decide to get another cat or not is irrelevant at this point. Just the fact that you are considering it pretty much guarantees that if you don't go out and adopt one, one will show up on your doorstep shortly!

Maybe you should start thinking about names....

P. S. That is great news about Scratch's sister!

You know that's true! In fact my across the hall neighbor just got a little orange ball of fluff and really doesn't know how to handle it. She's constantly complaining on how she isn't getting any sleep and how noisy he is. I have a feeling one day she's going to knock on my door and I'm going to inherit this little guy.

We shall see.
