ok my chairlie is about to get neutered next month in Aug. he is five months old. but I got him from a animal shelter. they said his lungs are not delvople(sp?) all the way. so my question is do I have to worry about him? I am going to tell my vet this. and when he gets neutered I will let them check his lungs.
I hope nothing happens to him....

If I were you I would have pre op blood work done and have the dr check the lungs ( xray??) before the surgery

He is panting when he sticks his tongue out. This is not normal but expected if he has lung problems. Call the vet now and ask if there is anything you need to worry about. Also, you can have him neutered much sooner then 6 months. Is there a reason you are waiting so long?

Ok just know that by 6 months he could start
Then it will be harder for him to stop.
