Doea Anyone Else Ever Do This

Today I went in the pet store and played with all the little kittens. They were adorable. I held a black and white tuxedo that reminded me so much of my RB cat, Max. They I held a gray and white beauty. And I held some that were just mixed tabbies. They were all so cute. The tuxedo cat was the sweetest. However there was another cat that I really felt sorry for.
A young girl had been holding it and playing with it. When she put it back in the cage, it was meowing pitifully and climbing the sides of the cage. That cat wanted to go home with somebody today. I was just playing, not looking, but I sure had a good time. Just wondered if anyone else ever goes to the pet store for their "Kitty Fix"

Oh sure! I love playing with the little ones. But, my favorites are the older kittens.

I do it too i just hate looking into those poor little faces knowing they don't have a home.

Whenever my husband and I go in the area of this one pet store near our apartment I ALWAYS know where he's going to want to go first. He's as bad as I am. We play with the kittens, giggle over the puppies playing, and then pet the rabbitts before we go do our other shopping.

I always go say hi to the kitties before I do anything else.

When I Had guinea pigs, I use to do that all the time, stop at the store and get my guinea pig fix.

I don't do it so much with cats any more. We're at the limit that we both can handle at home. So I think I don't even look at another cat for that reason

I used too but I just can't now. I want to take them all home and right now I am at my limit with four. Breaks my heart when they meow at me and shove thier little paws through the cage to reach for me.

I do, too!

I hate going in there to see everyone playing with the kittens (which of course I play with, too) but ignoring the older cats. I go to each cage and give them all some loving.

Me too! I make sure I stop and talk to each cat there.

I want to take them all home. My husband always tells me off for going to look in the first place, but I can't help it. My feet unconsciously take me there whenever I go in the store.
I feel so sad that there are so many cats needing a good home.

When we got to Petsmart to get the kitties their food, I can't even go near the cats or I'll actually cry. I wanted one of them so badly one time and I knew we just couldn't have another one, and I was so upset I made myself sick.
No, for me, my kitty fix is at home. I DO love kitties, I just can't handle ones that don't have homes. I want to take them all and my hubby knows that. if I only had the room for a few more..

I've cried before, too. Of course Erik gets mad at me for even going over there...but I can't help it.

nope, i stay away from dogs and cats
we have 2 cats that is enough. I would love to add a dog to that, but oh well.
