Need assistance from my UK friends.

My sister just bought a buffet from a antique shop in Virginia. The manufacturer was Old House of England ( I hope I have spelling correct). It was made in the 1930's. Its veneered maple. We can't seem to find any info on this company and wonder if anyone as ever heard of it???

Hmm. My best bet would be an antique dealer's reference. Kovel's is the best one. I'm just assuming you're looking to price it, but those books contain a whole lot of other info.
