I'll listen to pretty much anything, but right now I am on an 80's and 90's country kick. That's what I grew up listening to in addition to 70's rock. I saw Queen and Blue Oyster Cult in the womb!

My husband is a musician and he is practicing to play with another guitarist and their playlist sums up some of my favorites.

Amy: Pure Prairie League (this is a no-brainer, since my name is Amy)

Brown Eyed Girl: Van Morrison
Little Pink Houses: Mellencamp
Come Monday: Jimmy Buffet
Margaritaville: Jimmy Buffet
Tequila Sunrise: Eagles

I can't think of anymore, but I can listen to their practice tape over and over again.

I like all kinds of music. My favorite is "mainstream" rock...like Nickelback, 3 doors down, default....

But I do love Rascal Flatts!!! They will always have a special place in my heart!!

We went & seen Kid Rock last night. It was shoulder to shoulder standing room. But it was a BLAST! I dont remember much though. I just know I had fun. And we're going to see Gary Allan in a month.

I enjoy all different kinds of music, I can listen to some soft rock, hard rock, pop, R&B, oldies and a few country songs. I have a few favorites in all categories. A few of my favorite artists are Rob Thomas, Linkin Park and Nickelback and I really enjoy some of Kelly Clarkson's songs.

Hope, you should check out our local station www.1065theend.com, they stream over the web. Most afternoons about 5:50 eastern they do a old Hair Band tune. jack and Kristen in "The Budweiser Lounge" are fantastic!

I like basically everything except the new stuff going under the genre of country.

Sorry country music fans, but to me, country is Hank Sr, Flatt & Scruggs, Pasty Cline etc.

My favorite genres are traditional Irish, Classical, and Punk (heck of a combo eh?)

Hmm I like pretty much everything. The only thing I really dont like is nasty rap. My current favorite is Michael Buble. I listen to him all the time. I LOVE his voice.
I also like country. Old and New, Pop, Rock, Some Hard rock it just depends. I really like Maroon 5 and Alien Ant Farm too. I could go on and on and on and on.

I literally listen to everything from Opera to Rock. I was a music industry major (recording techonology- production/engineering)!!! So nothing is out for me!!!! I will listen and critique just about everything!!! (it's a producer habit, what can i say! I'm always trying to analyze everything- i'm like ..."oh this song could be better if it was adjusted...maybe 8va or a different key, or maybe make one part staccatto or so on and so on....it's funny...I will just ramble on and on and my friends just laugh and say I have a music obsession.
But hey, that makes me good at it and passionate! I LOVE music, and I can always tell where someone's heart is just by the kind of music make or the way in which they preform it. I could ramble on and on so I will stop myself before I drive everyone crazy!!! lol....I listen to pretty much everything.
At the moment...let's see, the 6cd's/ artists in my car cd player are: Tina Dico, Fats Domino, Ella Fitzgerald, The United, Saliva, Carrier Underwood, and Nirvana.....I will probably have all different ones in there tomorrow lol....

I like almost everything even though I mostly listen to one band. Most of you have probably never heard of them. They are called Dream Theater. They play EVERYTHING. They have some incredible classical songs as well as some seemingly impossible guitar riffs in their heavier songs. For those of you who have heard them play I hope you like what you heard. If you haven't heard them I suggest you try listening to some of their songs. Talk to me about it and I can tell you some of their songs that will suit your style.

I'm just going to cut and paste my "music" section of my MySpace...too many bands to remember, and in no particular order:

Ben Folds (Sans five or With Five), Indigo Girls, Keane, Ani DiFranco, The Format, Magic Numbers, Beck,Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, Weezer, NickelCreek, Jason Mraz, Gavin DeGraw,Coldplay, 10,000 Maniacs, Tori Amos, Pearl Jam, Norah Jones, The Shins, Sara McLachlan, The Darkness, Small quantities of Death Cab for Cutie and Modest Mouse but that whole hipster scene drives me banana sandwiches, Tenacious D, Violent Femmes, Imogen Heap, Aimee Mann, Alicia Keys, Audra McDonald, Joss Stone, The Beatles, Damien Rice, Guns N Roses, Howie Day, SHOWTUNES, Jeff Buckley....

I think that's it!
My favorite out of all of those are probably Indigo Girls, Ani DiFranco (who I'm seeing in one week) and Ben Folds.
