I've been to a few places and honestly I wouldn't live anywhere but here in the Pacific Northwest. I've complained about it a time or two but every time I get home from another place I'm grateful that I live here.

My Old Kentucky Home

I loved the house I grew up in Ky. A 38 acre farm with horses, cows, dogs, kitties, chickens... you name it.

OR

In an old medevil castle in Scotland!

I wouldn't mind having a summer home on the water-about an hour away in Door County, WI but the fibs have driven the price of homes up in all the good vacation spots in Wisconsin. A place in the UK so I could visit all the lovely gardens would be great too!!

The Pacific NW. No guarantees that it doesn't get hot or cold at times but most of the time it's perfect.

I would say San Francisco is the place for you. It's too cool for me, and I believe it's even cooler than the Pacific Northwest, but they have much milder winters. I'd say the average temp in San Francisco, is about 65 degrees year round. Oh they may have a 70 or even 75 degree day here and there in the summer and a 50 degree day in the winter, but when you average it all out, it's jacket weather year round in the City by the Bay.

Oh, man not me! I love the seasons! All four of them. I wouldn't trade that for anything. I like it being over 100 in the summer and below freezing in the winter. I should move to MN! Although I would like to see the Pacific NW for an extended time, maybe a year or two.

That is my ideal place to live. I want to travel all over, for months at a time, but always come home in the end. I hope Zissou's ready!

Anyone know of a job I can do that will let me do that?

My husband wants to own a bar in Florida. He thinks he's Jimmy Buffet!
Still, I think that would be perfect!

Can I have two houses?

I am happy with the area I live in. I am in Southeastern Massachusetts. I am less than a half hour to a fantastic beach, not that I go (Horseneck, for those of you in MA). I am less than 10 minutes to Narragansett Bay where I can walk along the water. (Colt State Park for those of you in RI). I am a little less than an hour from Boston, less than an hour from Cape Cod, less than a half hour to Newport, RI and about 10 minutes from Providence, RI. I also like having all four seasons.

For my second home, I would like to be in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

I would love to move back to Cincinnati, I love that city...

But the one place I want to live right now is Cleveland, I really want to be near my family again.

I completely understand. I just got off the phone with my mom who was telling me all the family news. I feel like I'm missing out on important things like my nieces and nephew growing up being so far away...

I want a cozy little craftsman-style home in Portland, OR.

I wouldn't mind having a condo in Tokyo for vacations, though.

My world travels are limited, but I think I would move back to Hawaii if I could. Half of my family still lives there and it would be heaven to go back! Some of the best eats you can find - I always gain weight when I go out there!

That is left to be determined. My family's on the East, though, so that'll probably win. I'm not saying 100% on anything yet, that'll be when we start house hunting.
