Sushi is about 8 weeks old, but she seems to naw on anything she can get her mouth on, fingers, cat toys, more cat toys. Don't worry I make sure she naws on her toys the most. And also don't worry she hasn't lost an teeth.

Just wondering if kittens lose their teeth?

Mine didn't lose their canines until they were six months old. Kittens are just mouthy- it is one way they discern what the world is made of.

Yes, the precious little things do lose their baby teeth. We were lucky enough to find one of Bijou's and one of Mika's for their scrapbooks.

They like the big plastic straws to chew on. For weeks I had straws everywhere in the house.

My vet said they should lose their 4 baby teeth by 6 months (usually somewhere between 4-6 months). After that, they can cause more rapid tooth decay, and should be removedif they haven't fallen out.

With Lilly, I found 3 of the 4; I think she swallowed the other. Leo just turned 4 1/2 months, so I expect him to lose his pretty soon.

Thanks. Most my cats I got when they were a year old or older. The only kitten I have had I had to put to sleep because it had heart diease and a heart mummer.

So, Sushi is technically my first kitten ever.
So, far she's GREAT!!!

But thanks everyone, for answering my question even thought it probably was dumb.

I never found any of my kitties baby teeth but I did notice when they were coming in as they were double fanged. A few days later the baby teeth were gone.

Thanks for you all answering my question. I just feel like sometimes my questions are dumb. But I know they aren't.
