Hi Everybody!

I was sent here by a friend from a rabbit forum I'm on. Her username there is Maherwoman, but I don't know if she has the same name here or not.

Anyway, I'm a bunny girl. I have four house rabbits, and I adore them. I grew up with cats and I actually just signed "foster-to-adopt" papers on two kittens at the local shelter. It's been a very long time since I've had kittens so I'm looking for nutrition info, behavior tips, etc. I'm reading through all the articles on this site, but also if anyone know of more sites that I should check out that would be fabulous!

Oh, these kittens will be staying here permanently unless all we think the rabbits just can't handle them. We're pretty sure they can. But we're doing the foster thing for a few days to make sure that they'll be okay.

Thanks Lilo! My rabbits are my babies- they really are great pets. We got the rabbits when we still lived in an apartment, and we recently bought our first house. So when we were looking, we kept the rabbits in mind. Most people think we're nuts for having a room just for our rabbits.

I'm having kitten fever right now. I can't wait to bring them home! I really, really hope this works out, at least with some of the rabbits. Mocha is both skittish and very aggressive but I'm okay with keeping the cats in a different room while she plays in the living room. But for now, I'm trying not to buy too much unnecessary stuff just in case they have to go back to the shelter.

The shelter just called. I can pick them up on Wednsday!

BTW, their shelter names are Emma and Karen. Emma might keep her name because it seems to suit her. I like the name Pandora for Karen, but she'll probably name herself when she gets home.
