I have that weird Nickelodeon channel. It always is playing Legends of the Hidden Temple every single time I see it on the guide. They're never playing the shows I watched
!

I watched Captain Kangaroo too! That doesn't make you old! My sister had them all on tape and I used to watch them.
That and Bozo the Clown, I know that was out of Chicago so I'm not sure if everyone would have seen it
And Beetlejuice!

My puzzler/mystery show was actually not a cartoon, which I think is why it's so hard to find. There are all kinds of websites dedicated to 80s cartoons. BUt not PBS shows
I'll keep looking though!

I lived in Germany in my very early teens (12-14) and we either had the Armed Forcs Network or Sky1 to watch. We have so many UK and Australian members that I thought I'd ask about two shows.

Alley Cat: I think this was the name. It was a morning show. All I remember was that I wanted to call in and play the game where you had to guide Alley Cat through the alleys and "Watch out for the reversing laurie!" (Being American, it took me a bit to figure out what a laurie was!
)

Hotel Paradise (?): I'm not sure what it was called, but it was an afternoon soap opera and I think it was Australian. My sister and I watched it every day.

I watched and loved the following:

Clarissa Explains It All
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Full House
Boy Meets World (I had SUCH a crush on Ryder Strong)
Saved By the Bell
Step By Step
Beverly Hills 90210
The Nanny
Home Improvement

I'm sure there's more but I can't remember right now.

I also watched old reruns of shows like Dukes of Hazzard, and Little House on the Prairie in the afternoons after school too.

My husband is going to die when I tell him this. I swear the man make an "Electric Company" reference at least once a week!
