It was 104 here in Modesto CA today and tomorow it will be 106 and the weekend says 112! I just know my utility bill is going to be WAY UP there!

Worse yet my boys and Missy think they need to go out - in 98 degree weather at 7 pm! <sigh>

It's been in the high 90s with the humidity in the steamy range. My glasses tried to fog up when I left the house about 4:50pm for a meeting.

All hail Mr. Currier and his modern air conditioning! (However the last name is spelled. )

Upper 90's all week.... although tomorrow's high is only supposed to be 82*!

Yesterday we did get a break tho, when it stormed and it dipped all the way down to 77*! Boy was that a nice change!

The cold front is coming! The cold front is coming! I can't believe how much hotter it is just a few hours north and west. Tulsa's heat index was 116 today!

it got up to about 105F here today...i don't know what the heat index was. it's supposed to start cooling off a bit, tho. right now it's still 90f & it's 10:30pm. & they're predicting 105f for tomorrow, too. there's still a heat advisory until 7pm tomorrow.

so, are you looking for a cooler place, or a warmer place? i think california in general usually has better weather than texas, but the ground doesn't shake here...however, we DO get tornados!

I don't know the exact numbers since I never watch the weather, but its been pretty hot. Occasional rain/thunderstorms which cool it down a bit, but a few real scorchers. I think once or twice it was above 100.

If wishes were horses ----- I would move back to the SF bay area - to Lake county or upper Santa Rosa. I left Sonoma county as my then babies kept getting sick. I had lived there before and THOSE babies kept getting sick too so I thought "YOU CAN"T GO HOME AGAIN" and that I needed to move to keep my babies healthy.

Well they died anyway - all 3 in 4 years and I am stuck here! Check out THESE temps:

Germans dont seem to understand that they need to install air conditionings in every shopping centre or homes.

I am sweating like a oink!
It really makes it hard to concentrate in class!

Right now its "74, feels like 77, 91% humidity", but then, its only 3am...

Most days its been getting up to 95 or so with so much humidity the air almost feels solid...like you're trying to walk through pea soup. They keep threatening rain... and the sky keeps saying "ha ha fooled you!". One one hand I'm hoping for it because the palm trees are starting to droop, but on the other hand I'm afraid that if I hope for rain I'll end up with a hurricane... ('be careful what you wish for' kind of thing
)

So for now, I just stay inside in the a/c
