The guy can't come until Tuesday to fix it. The girls and I are miserable. I have tried running a damp cloth over them to cool them off, but they walked away from me. Any suggestions on how I can make them more comfortable?
I feel really bad for my babies.

It sounds like it's running and there is cold air coming out but, I had it down to 60 degrees and the room was not cold! I check the filter and it's clean. Any suggestions?

Sounds like it's froze up. Go to the unit outside and see if the pipes are cold and have like a frost on them. If they do, it's froze up. Turn it off for about 45mins and let them defrost. OR, it could be out of freon... in which you would have to have an A/C tech come and fill it for you... but try that first

OH NO! How hot is it there? I had mine leaking freeon(?) and had to have my whole furnace replaced. It works a lot better now but I still find it come out too strong in some rooms and hardly at all in ohers.

Do you have fans? If so can you find a way to blow them on your cats and maybe put a cold wet towel near the fan so when it blows it blows through a cold wet towel?

That's the duct work...it could have come loose somewhere.. also, the rooms that it's stronger in, are they closer to the unit outside? and the weaker one's further away?

I've turned it off and then back on with no luck. Maybe it is the freon. Hopefully the repair man can fix it on Tuesday. Thanks for your help.
