DH and his little secret

I've realized that my husband has been stashing away things lately. I've found: gummy bears, chocolate, Big League Chew, and some Gobstoppers. We are supposed to be eating a whole food diet with no refined sugar. Do I confront him or do I put the candy back and let him think he is getting away with something?

Oh, I also found a second stash of kitty treats!

If I were in your shoes, I'd just do away with his stashes, but never say a thing about it.
He'll know he's been busted.

Honestly? I'd put them back. Lying is a form of privacy.

I would just say hey were suppose to be eating good.
Maybe he just can't help it and doesn' want to tempt you

Hide them somewhere else and he won't come and ask you about them because he will bust himself and trust me, he won't want to do that.
Just try to keep it your secret that you know

Here's the deal, I put them back, but in the wrong spots. So his chocolate is where the gummy bears where and so on. I also ate some Gobstoppers enough for him to notice.

He's a grown man! Let him have his goodies. At least you didn't find porn stashed!

Oh I found that years ago. No worries.

LOL! That's cute. If you think he goes there on a regular basis you could replace it with fruit.

Oh you should do this,

Throw out the junk food, then go up to him and say "oh you will never guess what happened!! I was cleaning out the ________ and I found some candy I must have forgotten we had! Haha but don't worry I got rid of it!!" and see what he says.

I say..let him keep his private stash of goodies.

I'd tell him I found them, but I think it's funny, and I wouldn't be mad at him at all. In fact, if it were my husband, we'd have a good laugh over it. Who am I to tell him what he eats? As long as he doesn't eat it around me (so I'm not tempted), whatever.

However, if you found them by snooping, I would just put them back. If you violated his privacy, you don't get to tattle on what you found. (you in general, of course... and that's just the way I see it.)

That's so funny, I caught my ex when he started smoking again after we had quit for almost 6 months... I just went up to him and said, so who long have you been smoking again? he got that look on his face like uh-oh, what do I do?? Then he admitted it , the best part was that I didn't have any real proof, I just thought his truck smelled a little extra smokey I like what you did though, and hey, if he's cheating a bit, go head! have those Gobstoppers!!

If it were me, I'd take all the candy out of the packages, and then put them in the wrong ones... put the gummy bears in the big league chew wrapper, the gobstoppers in the gummy bear package, etc.
