We are Cynthia (me), Miss Sophie, and Wolfgang.

Hello Everyone!!

Right now Miss Sophie and Wolfgang are living in Dayton, Ohio while Cynthia is going to school in London. Miss Sophie and Wolfgang are both around 8 or 9 years old - we don't know for sure since they were both rescue cats. When Cynthia moved to London last year Miss Sophie and Wolfgang went to live with friends in Reno but that didn't last because one of the friends discovered a brain tumor and had to leave town for an extended period of time for treatment. The friend is continuing treatment and unable to care for Miss Sophie and Wolfgang any more. A coursemate in London contacted her family to see if they knew of anyone that might help and, to everyone's surprise, the coursemate's mother offered to take them. We thought it was a permanent solution but it turns out that the family really wants them to live somewhere else. The family in Dayton has 2 dogs and 1 cat and is surprisingly uneducated about animal behavior. They have not introduced Miss Sophie and/or Wolfgang to their animals but have instead left them in the garage since November of last year. They are fed and played with daily but Cynthia (me) is deparately trying to find a home for them where they will be wanted and loved.

So, if anyone out there knows of a place they can live for the next two years I would love any information you can give me. They are spayed/neutered and all their shots are current. I would prefer a foster home for the next 2-3 years but would consider a permanent adoption if that is the only option.

If you have any help to offer, please feel free to post it here or email me at [email protected]

Thank you so much for reading this and providing a place where the love I have for my kitties is understood.

Cynthia

I forgot to mention that even though the cats are in Dayton they can be transported to anywhere in the U.S. They have already gone from Alaska to Reno to Dayton - one more trip to find a loving place to stay is no problem!!!

I'm sorry - is there anyway that you can trim that time period down to six months and get them their shots and stuff to move overseas with you? I think that this should only take six months, but a vet in London should be able to explain it too you.

I would love to have them with me but I am living in student housing and no pets are allowed. How uncivilized!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Miss Sophie and Wolfgang are still looking for a loving home for the next couple of years so if you know of anyone that is willing to help them, they would truly appreciate it. Thanks so much!!!!

I would really suggest that you concentrate your efforts on family and friends in the USA. A 2-3 year commitment is a LONG time for anyone.
