Just a Thought!

I was lying awake last night listening to AM radio (because I'm starting to act more like my father everyday lol) and I was listening to the fox news boradcast. I heard a theory that I think definately needs to be addressed in the middle east crisis.

Notice how when the focus started to turn on North Korea, that these two countries began warring?

I think someone is covering N. Koreas bum so that they have time to further test & create more missles/rockets/nukes etc... and then sell them to other countries..

My solution: round up all of these people/leaders/followers take away their gun/explosive and what have you, put them in a room with no esacpe, all strapped down to a chair and make them talk, sing kumbayah, laugh, and just get over it. Or I say drop some of my relatives from Kentucky over there! I have an uncle who I am definately sure, could make them all change their minds. Just give him a 12 guage and tell him to make sure they all sit and talk!

You don't mean:

The Pentagon announced TODAY the formation of a new 500-man elite fighting unit called the United States Redneck Special Forces (USRSF)

These Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, West Virginia, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas boys will be dropped off into Iraq and have been given only the following facts about terrorists :

1. The season opened today.
2. There is no limit.
3. They taste just like chicken.
4. They don't like beer, pickups, country music or Jesus.
5. They are directly responsible for the death of Dale Earnhardt.

The Pentagon expects the problem in Iraq to be over by Friday

My mom always suggested we put all the combantants (those that want to fight) in a big field/arena and let them duke it out until one survives.

Then we shoot the survivor.

Hell603, you made my day! I haven't laughed so hard since I asw Ron "tater salad" White's last standup routine.

Ah-hahahahaha! I love those!

Bill Burr, a stand-up comedian, said that all the Army needs is rednecks. They'd show up voluntarily, would save the country money by bringing their own guns, and would scare the hell out of the enemy because they're not afraid of anything!

I agree with the OP that this outbreak of violence between Hezbollah and Isreal is very convenient, but more so for Iran. We *know* they largely control Hezbollah and sanctions were about to passed against them for their nuclear program. If N. Korea and Iran are, in fact, in cahoots with eachother, then they just made the power play of the century. Encourage our pocket terrorist group to kidnap Isreali soldiers, thus enciting Israel to retaliate and take the focus off of Iran and N. Korea's nuclear weapons programs. I fear we are on the edge of WW3.

It is a thought...I always wondered if we hadn't gone to war if things happening now would still have happened.
Annasmom - i do agree that we could be on the brink of WW3.

My only other thought is if we do take away all the weapons and guns, what will we have to fight an alien invasion with???

Oh, I forgot about the threat of alien invasion!

Honestly, I don;t think the current crisis in the Middle East has nothing to do with the fact that we are at war in Iraq. Hezbollah exists entirely to wipe out Israel. The plans for the particular offensive have been in the works for 6years (since Isreal left Lebanon) long before 9/11 and Iraq War II, the Israeli's were simply waiting to be provoked to put it into action. Whether our current presence in the mid-East has caused N. Korea and Iran to begin nuclear weapons development is hard to say. But we know that Iran has never liked us much (especially since we gave Iraq weapons to fight them during the Iran/Iraq War) and North Korea has always been like the red-headed step-child to China, always trying to compete (in commerce and technology.)
