Ok got a question for those with tats. I have 5 but the one i got last night is my biggest yet it covers my whole shoulder down to the middle of my back.
It is pretty sore today what do you all use to help with the pain.

I got a huge tat last week (my 6th) on the back of my right shoulder, and it only hurt during the actual tattooing.

If you're feeling really sore, just take some ibuprofen, and it should help to relive the discomfort as well as relax the muscles in that area.

Mine didn't hurt unless someone touched it or my jeans rubbed it. Make sure you put the corn huskers lotion on it. OWrks well to keep it moisturized.

Yeah, I thought that's what this thread would be too

I didn't take anything for mine, but they aren't particularly big.

Yes it would, EXCEPT: You want to be very careful about what you put on a fresh tattoo as you don't want to damage the inks in any way.

You are better off taking something internally, and simply using A&D ointment or your regular, non-abrasive moisturizer on the tat itself. I used Neutrogena Emulsion on my last 3 tats, and they healed up quicker with less scabbing than when I used to use bacitracin.

From a Yankee up in MA, what on earth is corn huskers lotion?
