Marley & Me

So, have any of you read this wonderful book? The first time I picked it up and read the blurb I had to have it - sounded just like a story about my Ruby-girl - with a quote on the front saying `life and love with the world's worst dog' I was hooked and had to buy it.

Well, I finished it in one day. I could not put it down. I laughed and laughed, and in the end I sobbed and sobbed. What a wonderful story - and a must for all animal lovers out there - be they cat or dog or both! Ahhhh just heaven!

I didn't finish that book before I had to take it back. How did it end? I got up to the part where Marley was in the movie.

I read this in March. Very very good book!!

I might have to pm you that one! Wouldn't want to ruin it for others - lets just say I cried - and cried and cried some more. And when I was done, Ruby - my own crazy, huge, goofy, loopy Labradoodle - clambered all over me where I was lying on the floor, and then gently licked my eyes and cheeks and the end of my runny nose free of tears. What a wonderful girl, and what a wonderful book!

I want to read this book, but my library doesn't have it. I don't often buy books, I'll see if I can scrounge a copy from somwhere first.
I've heard this book is a must read for every dog lover.

Ooooh I've seen this book in the bookstore so many times and wanted to get it, but haven't yet! I've got a reading list a mile long already, but may have to put them on hold and get Marley and Me.....

I read it and LOVED it (our last dog was a yellow lab)

anyway, same thing - couldn't put it down.... LAUGHED and SOBBED !

I thought that was the most wonderful book!! I cried so hard as Marley aged, knowing he was just like my Pixie.
