Ok...last night at church (which we are pretty new there) one of the ladies in my Sunday School class invited my family to her son birthday party. I guess he is turning 10. I do not know this boy except for his name. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to get him? The party starts at 3 o'clock today. Help

Well if he is ten...I am sure any kind of action figure or car would be fine.

Also any kind of outdoor activities would be good...like a football, baseball bat.

Do you have the phone number to the lady who invited you? If so you can call her and ask what he is into.

How about something fun for the outdoors since its summer? A fun water toy, (ie, sprinkler toys, ect.) or something like that?

I would try to get in touch with his mom and find out what he likes. I agree that maybe a car or action figure wold be suitable. Or a gift card to Toysrus our another toystore in your area.

A book. Always a good book. You can't go wrong and you have the opportunity to introduce him to a wonderful story if he's a reader, or the wonderful world of reading at all, if he's not!

I would call his mom but I do not have her phone number. I asked my 9 year old and he said a battery operated airplane so I might do that.

Thank you for all of your advice.

I just got back from Walmart and I ended up getting him a remote control rocket. My 9 year old picked it out and said it would be cool. They are mini size and it has two rockets so that they can race to see who's go higher. I hope he likes it.

Thanks again for all of your advise.

The best kid gifts are chosen by another kid! Have fun at the party. How nice of her to include your family! Sounds like you definitely found the right church!
