I confess. I tried them and they are yummy! they have beans, rice, lettuce, salsa, chips, chicken and this dressing (on the side) that is really good. The only problem is, they don't put enough chicken in them. Last time I ordered one, it had three small pieces on it. Pretty skimpy. But they are good otherwise.
Yes I confess, I poo pooed my diet for one(or two) this week and am not really sorry i did...(OOPS!
I've noticed a lot of fast food chains are comming out with healthier foods. Which is a good thing I think because if I'm on the run I can stop and get something that's quick and good er better for me than most of the things on their menus.
Personally I like McDonald's fruit and yogart parfet or however you spell it.
Quizno's looks so good!! I wish we had one around here... All we have is McDonalds and Burger King.
If you want KFC or Wendy's you have to go all the way to Hyannis or Wareham. Although last time I went to KFC's in Hyannis The resturant was covered with flies... Ewwww...
you know, I'm really not a KFC fan at all. I like the extra crispy chicken but I don't like any of their sides. I will eat Wendys occasionally. I've only had Mcdonalds once in 7 months and it was the chicken flatbread without cheese and it was
When I ate fast food more frequently Mcdonalds was my place of choice. Now I have subway or quiznos. Subway isn't as good but it's a decent standbye for lunch.
Their bread hurts the roof of my mouth. I asked them if they could not toast my bread, that's what hurts the roof of my mouth, and they looked at me like I was an alien :martian:
Ugh! That stuff is ALL nasty! I'm not a fan of fast food joints. We have a couple of locally-owned chains that have good food: EeGee's has excellent sandwiches and Famous Sam's has the best pastrami in Southern AZ. As for Taco Bell, I grew up eating REAL Mexican food. Bill and I go to a couple of family-owned places, for Mexican. Most of these have been in business for three or four generations.
I'm not a fan of fast food, just slightly quick food. We have a local chain, called Aladdin's, that serves Middle Eastern and Middle Eastern-inspired dishes. They're relatively quick and cheap, so I can call in an order when I leave for home, and pick it up on the way. Also, I like the prepared sushi some of the nicer grocery stores around here have.
I don't eat out very often and when I do I perfer a small resturant to a fast food joint. When Brian and I were dating we ate out all the time but that became so expensive not to mention it wasn't very healthy. I'm mega paranoid about how my food is prepared so eating out isn't a enjoyable experience for me but the few times we do eat out it's at D'Angelos or this chinese food resturant.
A couple weeks ago Brian had eaten breakfest at a small cafe on his breakfest break and had ordered french toast. By the afternoon he had to leave work because he had gotten so sick and that evening he spent hanging over the toilet. Yuck!!
Two unemployed people were sued by McDonalds in the UK for printing and distributing leaflets stating that the food was bad for you (full of fats and additives), and that they exploit their employees. This was known as the McLibel case and went on for 8 years and cost MickeyD's millions of pounds (he he he).
I laughed and laughed over the recent case in the US where McMurder had to apologise to Hindus and vegetarians for telling fibs about the beef suet that they add to the french fries.
When I want Mexican, I will go for the real stuff. Not Taco Bell or Taco Time
! I go to McDonalds for salads, fruit parfait, and occasionally, an ice cream cone.
I love Quizno's, Subway, Blimpies, and this place that sells chicken cooked off the grill(I forgot what they are called. You put a stick through a whole chicken and the chicken cookes over a fire.) with rice and salad.
By the way, which is better, ice cream or frozen yogurt?
I'd have to go with neither. We have several places around here that sell frozen custard. I think it's much creamier and tastier than yougur or ice cream.
