More crazy dreams the past couple of nights. First I was member of the Monkees (the group from the 60's). Used to watch reruns of the show when I was little and a crush on Micky Dolenz (in his younger days) Anyway, in the dream I expressed my love for Micky, which wasn't returned. Then last night, I dreamed that Spider-man and I were in love (not Tobey Maguire) just Spider-man in costume). Knowing that we couldn't possibly be together because of my vow, I introduced him to my best friend. They then fell in love and I regretted it. George didn't make an appearance!

Think these are sign of what's missing from my life?

My first thought was of (usually) Mickey's line to Davy when the girl wouldn't fall in love with him - "It can't be you every week Davy".

When I have dreams like that it's usually a sign of something unfinished in my life.

Nope. No late night TVLand or Taco Bell. Could be unfinished business, though. Have a lot I need to get done at work which I'm avoiding by playing around on TCS!

As far as another kitty "man" in my life, the little foster baby I got so attached is a girl! Since they've already been fixed, I didn't bother to check and Millie told me that one was a little boy.
I'd still love the have the little one but, for now, looks like my "hunk" Pete is the only man in my life.

No wonder she hissed at Pete!

Seriously though, sometimes when you've got a lot on your mind, you don't sleep as deeply, and they say that you remember dreams that you wake up, or rather come out of REM sleep, in the middle of, so if you've got something churning in your mind you might be waking up more frequently during the night. Are ya feeling more tired/worn out? With me though, my wierd dreams are a least sorta based on something that happened during my waking hours, hear any Monkees songs lately? I used to watch them on Nickelodeon all the time when they were on there

Yeah, Pete seems to have that effect on women!
(Until they realize what a sweetie he is.)

With all that's churning in my mind, it's a wonder I'm getting any sleep at all. I do have the Monkees Anthology boxed set, but haven't listened to it in forever. My cousins and I were so in love with them when we were kids. We actually decided to form our own group called the Junior Monkees and would go around singing their songs to the neighbors and the lifeguards at the community pool. We were weird little kids!

If Spider-Man would happen to swing into the window of my office I wouldn't mind the distraction!

Haven't had Taco Bell since last Friday. I'm really beginning to believe there's a connection there!

an ice cube in Iowa...
I just received this message in my e-mail inbox:

"Um, pass this one on to Eileen, ya know, the one who cheated on me with Spider-Man in her dream. Tell that home-wrecker that Spider-Man has been happily frolicking in a field of cobwebs with Cat-Woman for the past 40 years. And I've been dating Marsha Brady ever since Davie Jones broke up with her for Jan. But, that's not to say that I don't 'monkey around', if you catch my drift. Yours truly, Mickey Dolenz."

Just thought I'd throw that in there.

Hey! Hey! We're the Monkees! And people say we monkey around...

A-HA! That's it! You've been monkeying around on TCS when you should be working!

I wondered when you were going to get a Monkee themed siggy!
You have Peter, but which one is Mike or Mickey or Davy?

Isn't it awesome? (I mean groovy!) AbbysMom made it for me yesterday. (Thanks again, Karen!)

Guess this is a new generation of Monkees with my three girls!
