That is outstanding. A man after my own heart.

Hey, be thankful he didn't say something like, "You know, I was thinking about running into the woods, ripping off my clothes, throwing them into the river, making a kilt from some leaves and weeds, creating a crude spear from a stick, painting my face with mud, and re-enacting Braveheart."

No, wait. That would be MY husband. Muahahahaha!!!!!!!!

My DH is quirky like that too... It can be 5am and he's walking around the house saying "Bee-Bop" (something Deacon said when he was like a year and half old)

DH also says "Some are good, some are bad" Something Deacon picked up at Pre-k....

He's constantly doing things like this... it's annoying but cute... it's like just when the kdis stop saying little things he starts saying them

So yes, I realized a LOOOOONG time ago that my husband has the mind of a 4 yr old!

thats men. i am 38, spend lots of time playing computer games, playstation, etc.
unless it something important, i would much perfer to be goofing off haha

As a side note, i remember reading in school once, that babies would responed to the voice of there fathers, with faster breathing and heart rates, along with being more alert and open eyeswhich means the study showed there response was that of playing
at least that is what the book said.

But ladies that is how men bond with kids, we play and do things with them,

if you cant get a guy to talk about something, get him busy with a game or working around the house then talk :p woops sorry guys, i let it out

Mine's like that too!

Except he'd be running into the woods to re-enact Transformers Beastwars
He even leaves me little notes that are quotes from the show, mostly from Silverbolt (erm.. Silverbolt is the mushy one
) And when he's not doing that, he's transforming his Transformers figures ("Look! This one turns into a planet!") or hes running around the house with Buddha singing songs he's written about Boo... like (to the "love boat" theme) "booo duhhhh.... soon we'll be taking another waaaaalk"

And the zombies too! He owns *every* zombie movie in the world and even made me sit through the end of Dead Alive (oh boy, never again!). Also owns the Zombie Survival Guide... although I shouldn't say anything since I bought it for him
... and he also has an extensive collection of all the Tales From The Crypt comics.

.... And then there's the 2 car garage filled with Warhammer figures and paints and pieces and.... you get the idea

He's a big kid, but I wouldn't trade him in for anything

You guys sound like so much fun! And I though getting a lap dance from my SO on my birthday was funny! He came to the bar on his bike, so he still had on his leather jacket and chaps. Some of the people that didn't know us thought someone sent me a stripper for my birthday, it was hilarious! He still shakes it pretty good for a 42 year old lazy guy.

I wish my husband was fun. But mine is way too serious. The only thing that he plays with or is even interested in is Helicopters and Airplanes. I am not talking about the cheap ones you get at Wal-mart. I am talking about the expensive radio control, gas powered ones you have to order from Tower Hobbies. Once it gets one then he will not let anyone try it and sometimes he won't even take it out of the box.

Although sometimes he does act like a child when it comes to cleaning things up or doing what I ask him to do.

Absolutely!

My DH said he would never grow up. When there were kids in the neighborhood, they would knock on the door and ask if he could come out and play.

Taking dancing lessons together is one of the best things we ever did.

For the RPG folks out there.... is it sad when saying someone "made their fortitude/dex/will save" or "has an ungodly fort/dex/will save" is a common saying around the house?

Dead Alive? I don't think my boyfriend has this one (at least I don't remember seeing it when I ... ahem ... created a database to catalogue all our movies
), and I thought he had every zombie ever made! Where'd you find it?

Actually, that one was surprisingly easy to find. He had rented it (or borrowed it or something?) and LOVED it, so I found it at Borders for like $10 and gave it to him as part of his 1 year anniversary gift. But now that we already own it, I see it everywhere... except maybe Walmart.. probably a bit over the top for them

.. and now that I think of it. It'll be two years on 8/1.... wow! Where did the time go!

But if you want to PM me your BF's aim name or email or something, I'll pass it on to my BF. I'm sure mine and yours could have a great time chatting horror movies.. might learn about new movies from each other. Of course the down side to this is that we'd end up with two guys with identical and HUGE dvd collections... but maybe that's the fun part too

I believe you can find Dead Alive at Best Buy now. Remeber to get the director's cut for more gore!

BTW I love that movie. I never thought that a man strapping a lawn mower to his chest would be funny, but this movie proved me wrong.
