Define what freezing is for you. It's probably a perfect day for me

The heat wave finally broke, so I will probably get a bit more done today. Abby is very happy about it at least

yes your probably right

"freezing" to me is anything under 15C (59F)... anything under 10C (50F) is just ridiculous and leaving the house is not considered. The fire is on from 15 C and below.

Morning

Today I have a vets appointment sometime this morning with a kitten that was brought into the rescue yesterday. Then I gotta go pick up some batteries and take pictures of the 6 new kittens, and Ollee, a cat that had a leg amputated so we can get an ad in the paper to start raising some funds to pay for the $900 surgery.

It's also my youngest sisters birthday. She is 12 years old today, so I gotta think of something to do with her.

Just the same as everyday. Enjoying my coffee and thinking about starting to get to work. Its gonna be hot here today too...yippee
. For those of you in Australia, don't worry..when your summer comes, we will be freezing our butts off over here
Then you can post about how hot it is there and tease us

I killed like 20 flies last night...wooohooo!! I'm thinking there can't be very many more now to go
Darn beasts.

Anyway, have a great day folks...I sure will, I'm off to the gym after work to look at the hot boys AND workout of course

technically it's not freezing until it's 0C
And it's not unbearable until it hits -30C

I wish it was 10C here, that would be nice and refreshing.

Today, nothing exciting. I'm still not in a great mood but things are a little better I guess. I need to go to school and work on answering those questions for my mid-term tomorow.

And at least the heat wave seems to be almost gone. It's still hot but not very humid.

Good Morning Everyone!

Must get cooooffffeeeeee..... My push cart guy George who's usually my coffee pusher, is in his home land of Greece for a month. And it's just too much to get up early and clean my coffee pot & make coffee, or even drive through Dunkin Donuts.... suffering from withdraw today....

We had wicked thunder & lightening last night. It was almost beautiful because there was no rain. The trees were blowing like crazy, and LuckyGirl couldn't tear her eyes off the window! She didn't hear the thunder on account of the AC and the TV and the dryer all going at the same time.

That is exciting!!! Bolt all the doors! My nephew is an escape artist, and could figure out locks at 9mos, my SIL had found him a couple times standing on the porch! She finally invested in those hook & eye type locks and has them up way high!

Hope everyone stays cool! Have a great day!

A sunny day but we have a 60% chance of rain so I will be be chanting to the rain gos later this afternoon. Watered and started some serious weeding in long perennial border. Tossed out many plants that seeded in wrong place but taking a break. Went to St Vincents-(a thrift shop> and picked up a pretty cream and sugar set for one of my SIL-her Christmas presents have all been bought!!
For the rest of the store-man I can believe th don't throw some of that stuff anyway-The local Goodwill stores look like upper class dept stores compared to this place!!
If it never rose above 80 degrees I would be very happy. Us northern folk don't consider it cold unless it drops under 5 degrees. In the late winter I usually don't wear a coat if its around 32 degrees and the shorts will come out at about 40 degrees!! We don't even turn on our heat until its stays around 32 degrees!!
