I have been remiss in posting pics of the kittens. So, here they are. Sorry baout the size. Sometimes the resize on photobucket works for me, other times it doesn't.

A group photo

From left to right: Jaco, Opal, Shannon, Scarlet (formerly known as Spitfire), Layla (the runt) and Hoss.

Oh my...how they have grown. How's Ruby doing with all the commotion?? By the way....these little ones will be due for their first distemper shot soon.

They are all going to the vet on Monday for their 6 weeks shots and deworm. I'm a little terrified trying to transport them all, but I've got a large dog crate for the kittens and a smaller one for Ruby. (I'm afraid Ruby would crush them in a sharp turn or quick brake.) Ruby, to my knowledge, has not been vaccinated, either, so she will be getting vaccs, dewormed, microchipped and flea treatment (although she doesn't currently have fleas), as well. Does anyone know when the kittens can be microchipped as well?

Oh, they are beautiful!!! The runt looks so small compared to the others, is she that small? Do you have any individual pictures of them? I miss my babies...all 10 of mine have been adopted.

Yes she is that small! She wieghs 7 oz, compared to the rest of her sibs 1.5-2 lbs. She is active and developmentally on track, but I still worry about her. I know I will miss them when they are gone. We never wanted pets right now, but have decided to keep Ruby, Shannon and Scarlet for our own.

That is wonderful! I just love babies...and adults! Cats are awsome because they are so independent. Sometimes I even have to look for one to pet, except at night when they want to wrestle on the bed
