I don't know if anyone remembers the saga of one of my cats and his episodes of digestive problems. He quits eating, starts with dry heaves, then dehydration and constipation. I have been through several diet changes and he has stayed at the Vets twice on an IV. Well the whole cycle started again only a little over a month since the last time. I was telling someone at work about it and she said it sounded like stress. Today I went and got a Feliway diffuser and plugged it in and just now he ate his normal amount of canned food. I know what could've stressed him out, I was without air conditioning for three days in all this heat. It was fixed yesterday afternoon, I know I was really stressed out. Has anyone heard of something like this? When I think of the past 18 monthes of vet visits with the high bills, diet changes, and changes in his environment could it really have been this simple?

Yes! It's amazing what stress can do to our kitties. I keep the Feliway plug ins going nonstop at my house. I also give my easily stressed out kitty Bach's Rescue Remedy 2x day. It's really helped a lot.

Stress effects cats in many different ways, I'm glad to hear that your kitty is eating normally again, and I send lots of healthy vibes his way!
