I'm trying to remember exactly what I saw a few years ago but I thought it was one of those glider type exercise things, but it collapsed and slid under a bed or sofa. Does anyone know I was I'm talking about? I'm wondering if they are something worth looking into but I can't think of who might have made it and I haven't seen anything really fold up in the store. We have almost no extra room in our house so thats what got me thinking of those instead of a treadmill or something.

Wasn't it Tony Little who made the Gazelle or something like that, and it collapsed down into good storage space?

I think it was him!

I have a treadmill that folds up but it won't store under the bed. My gazelle is an older one that I borrowed from my MIL and it doesn't fold in anyway.

I have a rowing machine that folds up, but wont fit under a bed. It stands in the corner of our living room at the moment.

I also have a pro-bounce trampoline which folds in half, that may fit under a bed ?

I have seen those fold-up thingies on the Shopping Channel. My husband is NOT allowed to buy one. He's also pointed them out to me in Canadian Tire and WalMart. I think it was some kind of weight lifting/stretching type of machine.
We're in an apartment and don't have any room. We already have an exercise bike that folds in half (it's actually just our favourite clothes hanger now) and a stepper that's nice and small (but still gets in the way, because it never gets used and I don't want to say "I told you so" to my husband, but seriously, like we were ever going to use it?)
What I want to know is, where does this fierce belief that we desperately need an exercise machine suddenly come from every so often?

Could it be a Total Gym? Chuck Norris and Christie Brinkley do the infomarcials. They Rock! It works just like is says it will, and folds up to slide under the bed. Now I just have to get off my lazy butt and get it out to use it.

I just need something to make my fat butt smaller!
Welll....technically it's not my butt that's the problem. I believe it was a friend of mine who so kindly pointed out that since I've gained weight the last few years, I actualy have one now!

I'm gonna look at the total gym. But I think I might to better with something more along the lines of walking since I'm so out of shape. Hopefully I can tune out the exercise by watching TV or something.

My parent's have an awesome treadmill they never use too. But my house is tiny and the thing is huge! (I'm the kind of exerciser that likes no audience whatsoever, or I'd just go over there.)
