This is a very weird story but here it goes...
I woke up at 7am like every morning to feed my 4 horses. Well i couldn't help but notice my young boy Wrangler pounding his chest at the stall door i walked over only to hear loud screams of a small kitten. Wrangler was scared of this little thing making such loud noises (horses= pray animal, cat= cougar). Anyways i took my boy out and put him in a open stall to get this "thing" out i could barley see the tiny little kitten in the corner digging her head into the sawdust.
I made a few meow sounds and she came right up to me thinking of course i was her mommy. I picked her up to check if she was male or female, it turns out she was a little girl. She had teeth starting in so i drew out how mom wasn't around. The cats around here are wild strays that stay in the forest next to us. She must of abandoned her or in her way weaning her.
So i brought this little grey thing in the house, she was covered head to paw in sawdust. I rubbed her off and rubbed her as if i was a mother licking her for comfort. It worked very well a few hours later she wouldn't leave my side. I decided to keep the little thing she was to adorable to ship back outside in 90-100% heat.
I cleaned out a big dog cage and put a shoe box and blankets and such in it for her to stay in, in the house. She cried at first but she fell asleep quickly. After that i wen't to the store and bought canned cat food. She's now doing great and my horse didn't harm her being he was 900lbs and could of easily crushed her in one tap of his large hoove.
She's very sweet and we belive her mom to be the stray tabby we've seen running around next to our 3 acre ranch in the forest and such. She's tabby, white, and a grey which looks to be turning into a tiger color. I recently lost my 2 barn cats one was my dear baby peaches that got hit by a color (R.I.P baby) she had this little white speck on her back and just in cause i seen the same white speck, same place on Krizzma my new kitten.
God sent a gift
